Las Vegas, Nevada is one of the most popular cities in the world. It is known to most as the place to have your wildest experiences; but is that an over-saturated view of the city? It is a city known for gambling, fine dining, entertainment, boxing and shopping! With so much to do it is hard to choose how to spend your time.

It is adequate to split up what to do in Sin City into two categories: What to do in Las Vegas on a budget and What to do in Las Vegas to blow large amounts of cash.


For those interested in the arts there is The Arts Factory in Las Vegas which is located from the 101 thru 107 East Charleston Blvd. And… It is completely free. You will be exposed to photography, art, architecture and all sorts of neat things to see. Another attraction that one cannot miss is the Bellagio Fountain, it is a beautiful fountain that arranges and manipulates water and lights in a fantastic show that comes to life every day. You can see this Monday thru Friday from 3 P.M. To 8 P.M. and on Saturday, Sunday and holidays from noon to 8 P.M. But that isn’t all…at night time from 8 P.M. till midnight to satisfy the nightlife, the nighttime show runs every 15 minutes. In the Bellagio lobby there sits a glass sculpture called the Dale Chihuly Glass Sculpture which is an arrangement of hand blown glass flowers. The Circus Circus Hotel & Casino also features a real circus with great performances to dazzle the eye. The rides don’t exceed $8 dollars and you can also buy the All Day Pass which is $27.95 for adults and for Juniors it is $16.95. You can also do something fun like taking a Las Vegas limo tours and ride up and down the strip.


With that much money how could you even worry about what to do in this great city? A great time is guaranteed but just in case you get bored with boxing matches, amazing dining experiences or gambling here are a few nuggets of entertainment you might have missed. At the Lake Mead Recreational Area you can have a watersport experience with packages that start at $189.00. The Dream Racing Experience may also be something missing from your list. It is a place to drive the Ferrari and the prices start at $499 per person. Sitting 10 minutes away from the Vegas Strip is Machine Gun Vegas. The address is 3501 Aldebaron Ave. and the cost starts at $159.95. Shoot a thousand rounds safely and remember the thrill of the shot stays in Vegas.

With so much to see, experience, and do in Las Vegas, This city definitely lives up to its name: The Entertainment Capital of the World.
